The life in the Indore starts with Chai, The heartbeat of every Indoris’ heart.
Chai or Tea is one of the very few things that we are actually thankful to the Britishers for bringing to us. The smell of Chai has been successful in creating a strong nostalgia amongst people, reminding us of homes, no matter where we are. Indoris’ no doubt love chai. We have glorified each and every food dish that comes towards us, but chai holds a special place. The very first chai trends revolve around Gumtis near schools, colleges or offices where people went to loosen up, gossip and relax. The most special thing about chai is its affordability and reach. Chai not only is the healthiest beverage out there but it also extremely convenient to make. With modern trends infiltrating our city, and coffee being introduced, chai was feared to be losing its relevance. But we Indoris couldn’t let that happen, could we? We revolutionized Chai by linking it to the café culture that was soon gaining popularity.
Indore is proud of the fact that three of the major Tea café franchises of India were founded and popularized in Indore, which are The Chai Sutta Bar, Chai Kaapi and Tealogy.
