Realizing the same, the authorities have already started working to improve the city’s traffic conditions.

The commissioner of Indore has recently issued some guidelines for the Indore Traffic Police to control the traffic of the city more efficiently. Keep reading till the end to know about these guidelines and how the police will be working on them.

• Modified Silencers won’t be accepted anymore- We all have come across those annoying bikes on roads with modified silencers of irritating sound, right? The sound of these bikes is not only irritating enough but can also cause some serious damage to people with sensitive heart health, old age, and kids.

• Vehicles with Fancy Number Plates won’t be allowed- There are so many two-wheelers and cars out there which have fancy number plates on them. When these vehicle drivers run away after creating nuisance on the roads, it often becomes hard to read their number plates. To avoid this problem and many such issues, the city traffic police will also monitor the number plates of the vehicles. The police have also been instructed to monitor such shops and showrooms that make fancy number plates.

• Window glasses can’t be Opaque– Window glasses of cars can’t be opaque now. This means that nothing can be pasted on the glasses and one would have to get permission from the RTO to get any tint on their car’s windows. Even after valid permission, one can have opacity only up to 70% with 30% visibility.

With these guidelines, the traffic police will also make sure that people follow the basic rules of traffic. The main issue here is not legally investigating people but it is about making them understand the importance of traffic rules. Traffic police will work to make people understand why traffic rules are important and how the environment can be more sustainable. This initiative will need the support of the common people too, to bring out the desired results.
