Why Indore Airport needs Mobile Command Post Vehicle?
Air Traffic from Indore Airport is growing day by day, many new flights to different cities have been started by various airlines, soon International Flights will take off from the Indore Airport. Keeping in consideration the growing air traffic from Indore Airport to different parts of India, Airport Authority of India has provided Indore Airport a mobile command post vehicle that can be used by the Rescue Team present at Airport during emergency situations or accident. Along with Indore Airport, Bhopal Airport has also received one mobile command post vehicle.
When emergencies and natural man-made disasters occur a mobile command center becomes a vital component to any mission. Mobile Command post vehicles are special vehicles that are fitted with ultra modern and advanced technology to carry out emergency operations as and when needed.

The Mobile Command post vehicles are equipped with hi-tech GPS satellite phones, conferencing facility, various emergency operation equipment, portable sign boards, shelter tents, Binocular for visual support, first aid box, and smart board along with other emergency-related stuff.
To operate this Mobile Command post vehicles special training is provided to the operational staff. Airport Authority of India has purchase 32 mobile command post vehicles at a cost of Rs 14.06 crore.
