Indore Clean Mission 2019: Preparing for a green and clean tomorrow

The whole of India knows it – Swachta Mein Indore Hua Hai No.1 ….. Indore RahegaNo.1 ….. It’s the hard work of every Indori in making Indore number one in cleanliness for consistently two years. Now the next Survekshan is due on Jan 2019, So are we ready for it? Indore’s clean team is working day and night to maintain the title and has come up with 12 crucial points to cover for 2019.

Now let’s look at the 12 commandments for next year and see in what all we can help the department.

1. A door to door waste collection.

2. Segregated waste from home and shops.

3. Public, industrial and residential places to be clean.

4. Waste storage bins, litter bins, and material recovery facility.

5. User fees, penalty on waste, on the spot fine, ban on plastic.

6. On-site compositing at large scale in waste emission centers.

7. Waste processing through scientific method, site landfilling and construction demolition waste management system.

8. App for problems faced by user’s, and a helpline or other medium to be developed for complaints and feedback.

9. Processing of waste from the Dump site and trenching ground.

10. Cleaning of Strom water drain and water sources.

11. Make the city look good and beautiful.

12. Reduce waste emission
