Metro & Indore:

A new dimension has been added to the progress of Indore, a city in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The trial run of the Indore Metro train was flagged off by the Chief Minister, and highlighted that Indore’s development would be on comparison with metropolitan cities, encompassing the surrounding areas for holistic development.

“Hours of Travel Will Be Reduced to Minutes with Metro”, a new chapter has begun for Indore, as the long-cherished dream of having a metro in the city has finally materialized.

Indore has transformed from tempos to the Metro train for commuting. Soon Indore would have an advanced category of Metro train when it comes to safety.

Indore Metro to Have 28 Stations:

The Indore Metro train will have a total of 28 stations, with seven stations being underground and the remaining 21 stations elevated. In the first phase, a 31-kilometer route will be operational in Indore, known as the Yellow Line.

The Metro will run at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour and will have coaches with a length of 22 meters. Trains will be available at stations every five minutes. CCTV cameras will be installed inside the coaches for security, and external areas of the coaches will also be covered by cameras.

Each coach can accommodate up to 300 passengers, ensuring efficient and comfortable commuting for the people of Indore.
