After ten years, the Toy Train began at Nehru Park, Indore.

The toy train is called “Vande Indore” and is dedicated to the children of Indore. The fare of the toy train has been fixed at Rs 50. Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava and other public representatives flagged off the Toy train on Tuesday.

Now, this train is going to run daily. There are three coaches on the toy train that runs through Nehru Park, each of which can fit 36 children. The train is electric as well. The kids will enjoy the ride through Nehru Park for 700 metres. The track layout that the toy train will travel through in the park has also been built to include a wall of tunnels and water sprinklers.

There have also been built toy stations for trains. A new Indrapuri station for the train has been constructed close to the original station that had been built in the park. at addition to the railway, there is a children’s play area also built.
