The Madhya Pradesh Government has organized the fourth mega Hanuwantiya Jal Mahotsav which began from 3rd January 2020. Hanuwantiya Tapu, an island located on the banks of Indira Sagar Dam near Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, is being groomed to become a major tourist attraction. A Jal Mahotsav is held every year with the purpose of inviting tourism and promoting this amazing spot for investors and businessmen. It was seen that the previous year Jal Mahotsav couldn’t gather a major audience due to the high rates of accommodation. This year though there is an estimated boost in numbers. On Sundays alone, more than a thousand people were recorded to have enjoyed the adventure sports and activities, proving to be a good lift for the ongoing event.
