Air India Express

In a major boost to international connectivity, Air India Express is set to launch a direct flight between Indore and Abu Dhabi from July 15, 2026. The new service is expected to benefit business travelers, tourists, students, and the large Indian diaspora living in the United Arab Emirates.

The flight will operate four days a week—Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, providing convenient travel options between Central India and one of the Middle East’s key aviation and business hubs.

According to the schedule, the flight will depart from Indore at 7:50 PM and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 9:35 PM (local time), with a total journey time of approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. The return flight will leave Abu Dhabi at 10:35 PM (local time) and land in Indore at 3:20 AM.

The introductory one-way fare is expected to range between ₹16,000 and ₹17,000, making direct international travel more accessible for passengers from Indore and neighboring regions.

The launch marks another significant milestone for Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, which has witnessed growing demand for international air connectivity in recent years. The direct route is expected to reduce travel time, eliminate the need for connecting flights, and strengthen trade, tourism, and cultural ties between Madhya Pradesh and the UAE.

With Abu Dhabi serving as a gateway to the Gulf region and beyond, the new flight is likely to open up greater opportunities for travelers from Central India.

Would you choose a direct international flight from Indore, or do you still prefer connecting routes based on pricing?
