The preparations of the Indian Television Academy Awards in Indore are at its high, and as promised, we are here with the most recent updates for you. With the stage almost ready to host the television stars for the evening of 10th November, the Indori audience is all excited for its arrival. The event is being organized under the title sponsorship of Madhya Pradesh Government at Nehru Stadium of Indore as the assigned location.
When Team Indore Talk went to see the preparations, the ground of the stadium was filled with people working hard to design the set, cutting, spray painting, mounting & designing all going on with full gusto. On further inquiry from the Art director of the set, we found out that the concept is to be based on the major attractions of Madhya Pradesh. We could spot the grand gate of the Sanchi Stupa, and the beautifully intricate sculptures of the Khajuraho temple, miniatures of which are skillfully created by the artisans. The stadium is divided in such a manner that the front half shall be utilized for seating of guests and audience and the parallel left and right pavilions would also be used for the audience. The remaining half would be the backstage and green rooms, necessary for the performers and artists to use for their performances.
The event, which shall be telecasted on 8th December on Sony Channel, is being hosted by the audience’s favorite comedian Kapil Sharma, along with his whole team, including comedians like Kiku Sharda, Krishna, Bharti, Chandan, and others. A total of 400 Television celebrities are supposed to grace the event with Anita Hassanandani, Arjun Bijlani, Divyanka Tripathi, Harshad Chopra, Shubhangi Atre, Shivani Joshi, Surbhi Jyoti and many more. The event schedule marks 6 pm to 8 pm approximately for a fashion show, after which the awards show will officially begin. A special feature of these awards is that they reach out to the public to vote for their favorite celebrity and approximately 1.75 crore people participate in the voting process.
