Celebrate a cheerful Lohri with vibrant kites at the OPA Indore Kite Festival 2020.

Indore’s biggest family Entertainment center OPA (Outdoor Play Area) has organized the Indore Kite Festival on 11th and 12th January 2020. This two days fun-filled event is going to have a pre-celebration for Lohri and a healthy game of kite-flying, surrounded by various activities and affairs. It is being held in OPA, next to Shishukunj School. Activities would start from 11 a.m. onwards and would go on till 11 p.m. at night. It is important to note that entry for people above the age of 3 is Rs. 150, in which each visitor would get two kites and a thread free.

On 11th January the itinerary includes a colorful pre-Lohri celebration, with a kite flying event, fashion show, fun around the bonfire and lots of entertainment. The entire day, visitors would be engaged all around, having fun and enjoying their day with family and friends.

The second day, 12th January would solely be dedicated to kite flying, attended by expert flyers from Ahmedabad. A kite-making workshop shall also be organized to give away valuable information about making beautiful and attractive kites creatively. Finally, the day would wrap up with an incredible display of LED kites, swaying in the sky after sunset for a beautiful experience for all the visitors.

The major highlights of the two days include a flea market with products of varied interest for all ages. For entertainment, live music and live performances are organized. There are various carnival games arranged for all visitors with contests for a little healthy competition. Apart from this, food stalls with a variety of delicious food and snacks are available so that the visitors can enjoy the activities with a full stomach. Other highlights include selfie booths to make this event picture-perfect and memorable. A fun-zone for kids is the most convenient place for the parents to let the kids enjoy and have fun in their own way.
