Indore Airport Authority take-off to built Fourth Aerobridge for travelers!

With an increasing number of Air Traveller form, Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport has received approval for building to build the fourth aerobridge.
The aerobridge will be ready and operational in one year. In present Two aerobridges are functional at Indore Airport while the third one is in the construction phase.

Discussing with media Airport director Aryama Sanyal said “Airport Authority of India has approved our proposal of the fourth aerobridge at Indore airport and we have received an approval letter. She said that the next step towards the construction of aerobridge is to take permission from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation Safety (DGCA).  Once we receive the permission from DGCA we will announce the tender for construction of the aerobridge.

Talking ahead Airport Director said after completion of the fourth aerobridge, the two bridges will be used for connecting the domestic flights while
another two will be used for international flights, which are likely to begin soon from Indore.

Aerobridge, Which is also known as a jet bridge or sky bridge is a passenger boarding bridge. It is an enclosed, movable, connector, which commonly extends from an airport terminal gate to an airplane. It allows passengers to board and disembark without moving outside. The number of availability of aerobridges at an airport shows the number of passengers and airplane traffic and upscale airport.
