Jaipuria Jai Utsav 2019: A package of learning, networking and fun all rolled in one!

Jaipuria Institute of Management is a respectable education Institute of India with its branches in Lucknow, Indore, Jaipur, and Noida. The house of Jaipuria is actually one of the most acclaimed business groups of the country, established in 1942. It set up the Jaipuri College in 1945 in Kolkata, as a first educational endeavor. After which the Jaipuria Institute of Management was set up in Lucknow in 1995. The Indore Branch of Jaipuria was set up in 2010 and since then the Jaipuria Jai Utsav has been organized and been participated by students all over.

 

The Jai Utsav is a unique blend of competitions that not only motivate you to put yourself out there but also trains you to the nuances of networking as well as opening your eyes towards utilizing the talents in you that you might not be aware of. It’s a two days long event from 29th- 30th November 2019, making it the ninth Jai Utsav held by the institute. On the first day, there would be about 25 plus unique competitions organized, diverse in every way and artfully creative. The competitions are designed to center the youth. Treasure hunt, PUBG, non- flame cooking, ad mad show, nukkadnatak, mime, t shirt painting, short movie, business plan, fashion show, singing, dancing, gully cricket, volleyball, chess, carrom, market place competition etc., are some that are being held. The competitions have individual, duet or solo participation, depending on the activity. The next day, i.e. 30th November 2019, a grand concert has been organized and setting the stage on fire with her buzz would be the youth sensation Aastha Gill, performing live in Rangoon Garden. The Jai Utsav is an amazingly wonderful experience that would help you to fraternize, learn and grow, providing a platform for all the non-academic activities that would groom you for the world out there.

 

 

In a candid talk with the Indore Talk team, Dr. Harshvardhan Halve, director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore shared his views regarding the importance of organizing such youth fests. He felt that education can never be learned in the classroom alone, it has to be practically experienced and participated. He said that Jai Utsav is about Networking and Showcasing along with having fun.
