Indore-Pune travels to become easy with Indigo launches direct flight.
With the onslaught of major business opportunities and Indore’s developing commercial success, major airlines consider it to be lucrative to announce direct flights from major cities of the country to Indore. Pune and Chandigarh are soon joining the list of one of the major cities to soon have direct flights to and from Indore. IndiGo Airlines issued the announcement of starting these flights earlier this week, thereby becoming the first airline to start direct flights daily from Pune to Chandigarh and Indore.
Officially, the flight operations from Pune to Chandigarh are expected to commence from 15th March, whereas that from Indore to Pune would be flying from May 1st. With these flights, travel for these cities is to become much more easy and convenient for travelers, with services offered by IndiGo, titled to be the low-cost carriers amongst the major airlines of the country. IndiGo’s announcement is a revival of the plans for flights that were supposed to running but were withdrawn the previous year. If these flights yield the expected number of passenger count, it would successfully open doors for travel from other cities to Indore.
IndiGo Airlines has gained a total 47.5% of domestic market share in the country, with 87 destinations under its belt, 63 domestic and 24 international. IndiGo offers only economy class seating and features like the pre-assigned seats, multiple cancellations and priority check-in, to its passengers who are willing to pay a higher fare. Apart from this, IndiGo also tied up with an on-demand video app. SONY LIV in September 2019for providing entertainment to the passengers.
