‘WittyFeed’ Embarks On A New Journey; Merges With STAGE and rebrands itself as ‘Nukkad Shows’.

WittyFeed is a Premium and Sensible content company for Bharat and our vision is to empower people through useful content that can add some value to the viewers’ life. Initially, we started with articles and became the world’s second-largest viral content company. We soon realized how the short video consumption on mobile phones is on the rise and we steered towards another successful journey of producing video content.

During this time, we keenly observed the growth of the Indian middle-class user on the internet and how it went on to hold a large share of the total internet users in the country. We also realized how this particular audience was being served mediocre, loud, and dumb content. To cater to their needs, we focused our content on this TG. The fire in our hearts to produce sensible content for Bharat, gave birth to a new brand ‘STAGE’ in 2019. It is an OTT platform for Bharat, where we serve premium and sensible content in the stand-up art form. Parallelly, we started working on a new content strategy for WittyFeed which in turn turned it into a video-first platform. We started serving informative content with an undertone of humor and satire through our fictional characters derived from the real world. The main aim was to cut the clutter and kill the boredom of content through each character’s quirkiness, its conversational tone, and easy to understand language.

Both STAGE and WittyFeed evolved into two different entities with the same goal – to produce premium and sensible content, to talk to the viewer in a tone and language he can relate to, be fun yet useful.

And therefore today, we are bringing these two brands together, where WittyFeed merges into STAGE. As we take this step in the journey of India Se Bharat Ki Or, we observed that the name WittyFeed may not be ideal to build the right connection that we are looking for with the audience. And therefore we decided to rebrand WittyFeed and change its name to Nukkad Shows.
