Indore is all set to have its own Smart Control Command Center for its citizens.
After marking its position among the top 10 smart cities of the country, smart city Indore will now be operated with the help of cloud internet computing with Integrated Control and Command Centre (ICCC) from September 2019 onwards, resolving its citizen’s issues of basic civic needs. It feels pleasure to announce that Indore would become the 5th Smart City in Madhya Pradesh to have this facility. Manhole cover, water supply, drainage blockage to public transport and ambulance services, all services in the city will be under surveillance and controlled in real-time with this integrated control system based on cloud computing.
Integrated Control and Command Centre Highlights
The state-of-the-art Integrated Control and Command Centre built behind the office of Atal Indore City Transport Services Ltd (AICTSL) matches the international standards. According to Indore Smart City Development Limited (ISCDL) this smart control and command centre will have three major components — Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC), analytic section and event alert. ICCC will control and monitor all city-based as well as state-level services integrated to it.
Event alert section would comprise accessibility of emergency services such as medical assistance, police and fire brigades. The analytic section would suggest changes in services depending on calculations based on available data and statistics. This section will be used for proactive response in case if there is an issue related to a service that has been included in ICCC and event alert. The centre has been developed in such a manner that it can highlight any issue or problem-related with services integrated to it including complaints raised by citizens. The smart city Bhopal is already being governed by such an Integrated Control and Command Centre from the march 2018.
