Indore Management Association (IMA) has received the prestigious “Best Local Management Association (LMA) Award” at the 53rd National Management Convention of the All India Management Association (AIMA).
IMA was selected for the honour from among 68 Local Management Associations across the country, marking another significant recognition for Indore’s management and leadership ecosystem.
The award was presented on 21 September 2026 at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi.
A National Recognition for Indore
The award was presented by prominent management and industry leaders, including Amitabh Kant, former G20 Sherpa and former CEO, NITI Aayog; T. V. Narendran, President, AIMA and CEO & Managing Director, Tata Steel; Vishal Kampani, Senior Vice President, AIMA and Vice Chairman & Managing Director, JM Financial; Vineet Agarwal, Vice President, AIMA and Managing Director, Transport Corporation of India; and Rekha Sethi, Director General, AIMA.
Representing IMA, the award was accepted by President CA Naveen Khandelwal, Vice President Ashwin Palshikar and Secretary Chani Trivedi on behalf of IMA’s members.
Other IMA office-bearers present included Vice President Sapan Shah, Treasurer J. S. Juneja, and Board of Directors members Sonali Pal and Ajay Dasundi, among others.
IMA’s 19th Award in the Category
According to IMA, the recognition carries additional significance because the association has received several honours on the AIMA platform over the years.
The Best Local Management Association category award is IMA’s 19th recognition in this category.
The association attributed the achievement to its continued activities and initiatives in the areas of management, leadership, professional development and industry engagement.
