Support Wings brings smiles to children in Indore through its ‘Little Smiles’ initiative, conducted on October 25, 2026, at Amitesh Nagar slum, in front of Choithram Mandir. The youth-led initiative focuses on spreading happiness through games, interactive activities and simple gestures of kindness.
Volunteers spend quality time with the children, engage them in fun activities and distribute chocolates, creating a cheerful environment filled with laughter and memorable moments.
The Story
As part of the initiative, Support Wings volunteers divide the children into groups and engage them in various games and activities. The interaction creates an opportunity for volunteers and children to connect, share experiences and enjoy time together.
The volunteers continue interacting with the children after the activities, capturing cheerful moments through selfies and spending around an hour building connections with them. The initiative concludes with the distribution of chocolates, adding a sweet touch to the day.
Beyond the activities and treats, ‘Little Smiles’ highlights the importance of human connection, compassion and community participation. Through such initiatives, young volunteers encourage a culture in which small acts of kindness create meaningful experiences for others.
Support Wings operates across 80+ cities in India, empowering young people through leadership programmes, internships, volunteering opportunities and community-driven initiatives that encourage them to become responsible changemakers.
Speaking about the initiative, Pratham Mandviya, Senior Director of Support Wings, says, “Little moments of happiness can create meaningful memories for children. Through this initiative, we wanted to spend quality time with them, engage them through fun activities, and simply share some joy.
